Sam Dudley-Warde.

Chartered Physiotherapist – BSc HCPC MCSP

I graduated from the University of Southampton with a Physiotherapy BSc in June 2018. Since graduating, I have worked in both NHS outpatient settings, assessing and treating a wide array of people with a great variety of musculoskeletal problems. Furthermore, I have been working as the Physiotherapist for Eastleigh RFC for the last year. This role has enabled me to gain some specific knowledge in treating sports based injuries. I also help in running a class at Basingstoke for people with Ankylosing Splondylitis, a long term inflammatory condition of the spine.

I am always looking to push myself forward and further my knowledge and skills, and I pride myself on providing up to date, evidence-based therapy. I recently began on the pathway to gain a Masters degree with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Previous to studying for my degree in Physiotherapy I spent 5 years in the Royal Navy. During this time I developed many skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and decision making, which I feel have benefited in my career so far as a Physiotherapist.

I believe it is important to share knowledge and experiences to better improve the standard of my treatment and aiding people in better understanding how to manage their conditions. I gain great satisfaction and enjoyment in meeting new people and restoring their fitness, function and quality of life.
