Jenine Nugent.

I am a keen sportswoman and have a particular interest in athletics, running and strength training . My passion for sport led me to achieve awards for the county in athletics and to play netball for one of the top 21 teams in the country, competing at District, County and National Level.

I specialise in Soft Tissue Therapy and gained a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy, which is the highest qualification for Soft Tissue Therapy and Sports Massage in the United Kingdom and also the minimum requirement for working as a soft tissue specialist within elite sport.

I have worked as a soft tissue therapist for British Cycling, for UCI women’s race team Storey Racing, (owned and run by GB’s most decorated paralympian Dame Sarah Storey), and with the senior squad at London Irish RFC.

I have worked overseas at high profile cycling events and at numerous UK events including the Tour of Britain, Tour of Yorkshire and The Women’s Tour.

As well as clinic work, I also work for British Athletics as a soft tissue therapist and I have been part of the medical team at numerous international competitions, including the European Championships.

Through personal experiences, I am very aware of how effective advanced remedial treatments are following a sports or occupational-related injury or for general aches and pains. I can relate to the frustrations of feeling restricted, having limited movement and understand the need to return to pain-free activity. I have an exceptional drive to provide accurate assessments and successful treatments and offer appropriate advice to ensure individuals return to full fitness and function as safely and quickly as possible.
